What is Recruitment Process Outsourcing

The RPO is defined by the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association as :"when a provider behaves as a company's internal recruitment function for a piece complete of its jobs. RPO providers administer the whole recruiting/hiring procedure from job profiling through the on-boarding of the fresh hire, together with staff, technology, method and reporting. A appropriately managed RPO will progress a company's time to hire, boost the quality of the candidate pool, supply demonstrable metrics, decrease price and get better governmental compliance."
The RPO Alliance, a group of the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA), accepted this description in February 2009: "Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is a type of business process outsourcing (BPO) where an employer transfers complete or fraction of its recruitment processes to an exterior service provider. Occasional recruitment support, for example temporary, contingency and executive search services is more analogous to out-tasking, co-sourcing or just sourcing. In this example the service provider is "a" source for certain types of recruitment activity. The major difference between RPO and other types of staffing is Process. In RPO the service provider assumes possession of the process, while in other types of staffing the service provider is part of a process controlled by the organization buying their services.
